These 2 Classic antenna break down to a (105cm) packed length for easy portability.
The Classic series has been desingned SPECIFICALY for mounting to a vehicle, for mobile use
When used off the vehicle in a portable configuration, the factory default resonance on each band will change. A very, very good ground system or counterpoise must be used.
Mounting the antenna to a spike in the ground is not a sufficient counterpoise.

All OBA antenna are now supplied with the New! adjustable stinger Vice assembltly allowing the vice assembly to be renewed in the field should it be damaged. The replacement code for the vice assembly is OBASVA avialable as a spare part.
